Throw away those tired little Shrinky Dinks and the moldy old macramé and come on down to the Renegade Craft Fair, a ragtag fugitive fleet of hundreds of artists and craftspeople from around the world. They'll be the ones taking over California Market Center's 13th-floor penthouse, from which you can see all of Los Angeles. Shopping list: handmade clothing, less-than-stationary stationery (priced to move!), concert posters, froofy soaps, and ceramics aplenty. Billie & Tootie of Silver Lake's ReForm School offer insight in lino-block printing, while Santa Monica's Urban Craft Center holds forth on arcana like needle-felting, which is sort of like BeDazzling but with yarn instead of rhinestones. You can even euthanize your old clothes by bringing them into the Swap-O-Rama-Rama, where they'll be recycled into more outlandish fashions than there are stars in a renegade heaven.
