Before there was Dr. Phil, there was Dr. Drew Pinsky, the go-to-guy for pseudo celebs battling substance abuse and a lack of shame. The addiction specialist, KROQ radio host and producer of the VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (who knew a life in porn and rock 'n' roll would lead to drugs and alcohol?) has also authored several books on drug dependency. And his current book, The Mirror Effect: How Celebrity Narcissism is Seducing America, co-authored with Dr. S. Mark Young (a professor at the USC Marshall School of Business), asks that you not look at rock stars and people in porn as role models unless you want be followed by cameras on a reality show. Either way, you'd be crazy.
