Born in Tehran and based in Zurich, the Hammer artist-in-residence discusses her photographs, which range from still-lifes to landscapes, and have been transformed into paintings and carpets. Shahbazi's exhibit for the museum's Lobby Wall includes new photographs, as well as a wall-size painting created by Iranian sign painters.
