Well he is just 18, you know what I mean, and the way he plays is way beyond compare . . . You wont fall in love with another (violinistooh) when you see him standing there . . . In 2005, the great Russian conductor Valery Gergiev invited Eugene Ugorski to perform the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto under his baton at the Moscow Easter Festival in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, which wasnt too shabby an honor for a 15-year-old. This weekend, youll get to hear the uncommonly talented Ugorski perform that very work at the Hollywood Bowls annual Tchaikovsky Spectacular, complete with fireworks: the ones you see in the air accompanying the 1812 Overture and the ones coming from Ugorskis violin.
