The Inflatable Crown

By Libby Molyneaux

Published on January 08, 2008 at 2:20am

I've been looking forward to the Skirball's new exhibit opening today — except that it turns out it's called "The Inflatable Crown", not "The Inflatable Clown." Oh well, it still sounds fun. The exhibit features photos of people around the world wearing balloon hats created by Addi Somekh, "the world's undisputed leader in high-end balloon headdresses." On view thru April 6. Plus, on Sun., Jan. 27, Mr. Somekh will demonstrate his technique. (Libby Molyneaux) Thu., Jan. 10, 2008
