Sweet . . .

We missed the weekend’s Pride festivities in WeHo but luckily saw many of our beloved boy toys at Little Radio’s private Peaches concert Saturday: filmmaker John Roecker, actor Sam Pancake, writer Clint Catalyst (with performer Jeffree Star) and scenester extraordinaire Shaundelier(with Junior Senior’s Jeppe). Unveiling her new band, “Peaches and Herb,” featuring drummer Sam Maloney and half of Le Tigre, Miz P. played cuts from her new disc, Impeach My Bush, her juiciest yet. The luscious lineup will open for Nine Inch Nails this summer.

Horny . . . 06/06/06 came and went without much incident — unless you attended one of the menacing monster mashes held that night. The Concert for the Beast at the El Rey was suitably debauched, with The Binges living up to their name during a beer-guzzling contest with audience members and The Vacation doing their usual rampage into the crowd (and up the rafters) . . . Over at Cinespace Tuesdays, Peanut Butter Wolfspun a blaringly ballsy metal set, and none other than Coolio got on the mic . . . But the horns were really out (both headgear and hand signs) at the Mondo Evil Wedding of “the devil’s daughter’s son,” Stanton LaVey(granddaddy’s Anton), at the Musicbox. Fellow wicked spawn Hank IIIspewed hellbilly, later joined by Glenn Danzig (!). Seen in the fiery pits: singer Shaun Kama, ink slinger Bob Vessels, Jackass imp Jason “Wee-man” Acuna and Jesus (or a dude dressed as him), praying for all our sinful souls.

Hot . . . Music-biz whiz Bobby Carltonunveiled his new rock-&-roll-themed art space, the not-so-subtly-named Shooting Gallery (right next to Guitar Center), featuring snaps of everyone from Led Zeppelin to Nirvanaby local lensmen Richard Aaronand Kevin Estrada, last Thursday. The packed opening brought out a slew of studded-belters including members of Jetand Street Drum Corps, Orgy’s Amir Derakh and rocker fan Rachel Hunter. Expect more loud and proud parties, especially when the place’s new poetry night, “Read” — featuring heady-bangers like rage-metal goddess Otep Shamaya — gets going. Across town in Venice, The Duncan Miller Gallery’s “Icons of Rock” exhibit attracted a more collector-heavy crowd with the work of George Rose, Baron Wolman and one of our faves, Ethan Russell. (He took the infamous ’72 shot of Keith Richards under a sign at Seattle customs — “Patience Please: A Drug Free America Comes First.” Speaking of Keef: Got a press release announcing his full recovery from the coconut incident.) . . .

And Wet . . . The Standard Downtown’s raging Sunday pool parties are back, courtesy of DJ Sean Patrick. Nightranger braved the sun (well, not much — it was overcast) to hear Steve Aoki, Benji Madden and Blake Miller spin last Sunday for the big-shades set. She Wants Revengewill be on the decks there this Sunday, amid what we guess will be a bunch of black bikinis. And don’t forget about the other Standard, either. DJ Myles Hendrick has been hosting his own dive ’n’ dance thang at the Sunset hangout every Saturday and we hear it’s a real splash.
