If you’ve popped into Jumbo’s Clown Room or other East Hollywood strip clubs such as Cheetah’s and Crazy Girlslately, you might have noticed that neither are showing the booby or booty they used to. That’s right: Due to zoning restrictions, these clubs are now forced to follow the rules of “bikini bars” — which means no nipples, pasties or even thongs allowed. (What next? No poles?) But Jumbo’s marked an even greater loss last week as dark-haired cutie Lola Wrayhung up her G-string after eight years on the teeny-tiny Jumbo’s stage. Forget Courtney Love: Wray should go down in historyas Jumbo’s best-known — and best all-around — rock & roll stripper chick. Wray said a teary (and pregnant) goodbye to a gathering of fans and friends, many from the music and club scenes. Lil’ Lola was, after all, one of the hottest go-go girlies in town, grinding on the platforms at two of L.A.’s fiercest clubs, Cherry and Makeup. Spotted Lola’s hubby, Michael Wray — who got his own 15 minutes last fall, when he won FOX TV’s chef competition, Hell’s Kitchen. Also in the house were Cherry’s famed promoter Bryan Rabin, therewith model Michelle Hicks; androgynous L.A. chanteuse Constance; and NYC punk-tranny legend Jayne County. J.C. told us she’s in town to work on a new project called Four On The Floor — an all-star she-male supergroup including herself, Constance, White Trash Debutantes’ Ginger Coyote and Warhol wild-side walker Holly Woodlawn. Talk about gurl power!

WILD IN THE STREETSSure was a tight race for biggest clubsterfuck in Hollywood last week. Thursday on Las Palmas we checked out Sean Patrick (former DJ at soul-crushing It-space Teddy’s) spinning at Rok Bar, though not even his groovy mixes could rejuvenate this spot’s sterile vibe (for a cooler clientele — and cheaper parking — catch Patrick at Bent Mondays at The Baror Resolution Fridays at Vermont) . . . Next door, Mark Ronson whipped the wax at LAX, though the part we heard was too jiggy for our tastes. Guess he was playin’ to the playa crowd this time . . . Bopped down to Cahuenga for Beauty Bar’s bodacious new BFF night, which had NYC DJ Spencer Productspinning bomb jams, though a distinct odor near the door suggested someone may have B(ar)FF’d . . . The next night it was all about vampin’ on Vine, where The Spider Club’s new Friday party, thrown by Moscow’s Keith Wilson and the ubiquitous Steve Aoki, attracted a predictablychoppy-headed crowd (spotted Morphine Generation’s Eric Hart) that went wild for the indie/dance mixes, even climbing the “stripper” poles . . . Last but not least, Nightranger worked it into the sizzling Sunset Strip Saturday stop Privilege, hoping for a lil’ shameless stargazing. Yup, this one is such a celeb-magnet, they actually have a “camera check” outside, something Bruce Willis, Scarlett Johansson, Tara Reid, Nicky Hiltonand Kevin Connolly, all in the house that night, surely appreciated. Of course, the plethora of wildly snapping paparazzi near the exit kinda makes it moot. Clubsterfuck winner of the week: The Strip!
